On April 1, from 6-8pm at Venue One (1044 W. Randolph St.), the Chicago Department of Planning and Development will be presenting some initial thoughts and ideas around some new Randolph Fulton Market District plans. As the plan is still in its early stages, the DPD is looking for community input and feedback.
The agenda will include the following discussion items:
- Land use plans to direct character and uses
- Blocks of historic buildings
- Design guidelines to preserve character
- Traffic, parking and streetscapes
- Public market facilities that encourage regional artisanal products
The area that would be affected by the plan is in the map above. If you live in the Randolph Fulton Market District, we hope you’ll attend and voice your opinion in this important community discussion.
