Neighbors of West Loop: Macello Event Recap

This past Tuesday, we held a casual event at cozy Macello Restaurant. Despite the impending storm, the atmosphere inside was warm and cozy, the gathering was at full capacity and there was no shortage of great pizza, good cheer and jovial conversation.

Leo Miller, Vice President of Support Services at the Haymarket Center and Chairman of the 12th District Police District Advisory Committee (DAC) was invited to address the crowd. He educated attendees about the center and its contribution to the West Loop. It was a great opportunity for neighbors and residents to catch up and find out what has been happening in the neighborhood this winter.

At Neighbors of West Loop provides plenty of opportunities for residents to get involved in issues regarding the area. As residents of the West Loop we all strive to enhance our community. If you’d like to learn more, we encourage you join one or more of our committees, or to attend one of our upcoming events. Please check our West Loop event calendar or sign up for our newsletter above for news and event details.

We would like to graciously thank Mr. Miller for speaking on Tuesday, and extend a very special thank you to Macello and to its attentive staff.
