In June of 2016, Neighbors of West Loop started an initiative to develop a planning document for the West Loop known as the Neighborhood Plan. Now in draft form, this plan was developed with input directly from residents about development topics like development & land use, traffic & parking, infrastructure, parks & green space, and public safety. When complete and adopted, the Neighborhood Plan will act as a resident-driven vision for the future of the West Loop, providing guidance to the NoWL Development Committee, developers, city planners, and elected officials about the neighborhood in which we want to live.
The draft Neighborhood Plan is now available for public review and comment. Please use the links below to review the various elements of plan, including wide-ranging recommendations for the West Loop, or click HERE to download the draft document. Additionally, you can view a Facebook Live presentation of the Plan and/or download the presentation slides.
