West Loop is Kid-Friendly = West Loop Craft Beer Fest is Kid-Friendly

The West Loop Craft Beer Festival is organized and put on by Neighbors of West Loop, our non-profit organization. NoWL donates their time and money to various events throughout the year and has one fundraiser a year, which is West Loop Craft Beer Festival. One of the events that NoWL supports is the West Loop Families Childcare and School Fair, happening this Saturday morning from 9a-12pm. This is the second year for the event and NoWL is proud to be one of the original sponsors.

At the fair, you’ll have the chance to meet childcare providers, preschools, public, private and alternative K-8 educational options for your children. Parents can also learn about enrichment programs and businesses that cater to young children and their families. This event is free and open to the public!

If you have little ones, stop by the fair, learn more about Chicago’s great education system (public, private or alternative!) and then hop over to the West Loop Craft Beer Festival. We’ll have things for grownups: craft beer. We’ll have things for both adults and kids: food vendors, games from New Belgium and Chicago Sport and Social Club and one of the best DJs in Chicago, Johnny Walker! You won’t see the typical cover band at our street festival – he’s been known to spin the Motown grooves and will be entertaining our ears this Saturday afternoon!

WLCBF will have over 100 craft beer styles from 45 craft breweries to enjoy, plus eight food vendors (most from Chicago French Market!) to nosh on throughout the day. We’re very excited to offer fun and games to both adults and kiddos this weekend!

We promise this is the perfect pre-game for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, Hawks (YEAH!!!) vs. Lightning (booo!) We stronglyl encourage purchasing tickets online: GA – $50, VIP – $80, walk-up: $65.
