Green City Market Announces Temporary West Loop Outpost

This following text was taken from an email sent by the Chicago Green City Market earlier today. An update was also posted on the GCM website. The temporary market’s planned location is right near the proposed gateway marker for the Fulton Market Innovation District, with a more permanent location to come after this market season. More details to come as needed.

west loop fulton market green city marketOn Saturday, August 9, we will open a second location at the southwest corner of Fulton Market and Halsted streets.

Parking is available for a validated rate of $6 in the pay lot on the east side of the street on Halsted, directly across the street from the market. Stop by the market information booth located in the southwest corner of the lot to validate.

The new location can be reached via public transportation; either take the #8 Halsted Bus to Fulton, or the Green or Pink Line trains to the Morgan Street stop.

This market will operate in conjunction with the Lincoln Park Market, and link cards will be accepted.

Hours are 7am-1pm. This market will be open Saturdays through October.
