Neighbors of West Loop hosted about fifty people at our “Get Involved Mixer” at OFFSITE, located at 560 W. Washington Blvd. on Monday, April 13. Guests represented a cross-section of West Loop residents and business owners. Thanks to everyone who came out!
The purpose of the event was to enlist West Loop residents who want to volunteer their time and talents to the Neighbors of West Loop mission. The group discussed:
- The first phase of our website update and the vision for phase 2.
- The opportunity to sign up as a NoWL correspondent to contribute content to the development of the website.
- Opportunities to sign-up to join one of our existing committees.
- The date for the West Loop Craft Beer Festival: Saturday, July 13. We have a developing committee for that too!
We appreciate the support of local businesses to help make the evening entertaining as well!
- OFFSITE donated the beautiful meeting space!
- Illuminated Brew Works donated the delicious craft beer!
- Whole Foods Market West Loop donated the amazing cheese trays!
- Doolin’s donated the festive balloons that tied the room together!
- Hilary Higgins for taking pictures during the evening!
